The Capacity Building Programme is a long - term training programme and large scale capacity development project designed, steered and fully funded by the SESRIC. The Programme covers various public sectors from statistics, central banking, health to occupational health and safety. It involves collecting information from the relevant official authorities, assessing the needs and capacities of the member countries, twinning the provider and the receiver countries, implementing training through short - term courses or workshops, evaluating the outcomes and impacts of the training and disseminating the activities.

This education programme, organised for the general managers of several hospitals in Yemen ended with a certificate ceremony with the participation of Prof. Savaş Alpay, Director General of SESRIC and Dr. Ali Iravul, Member of the Board of ESAFED and Coordinator of the Project for Yemen.
