Definition :

FOB (free-on-board) value of goods provided to the rest of the world, expressed in terms of current USD. Please note that the data may not be compatible with those extracted from other sources.

Explanation :

Merchandise exports consist of (i) food exports (SITC section 0, 1, and 4 plus division 22), (ii) exports of agricultural raw materials (SITC section 2 minus divisions 22, 27 and 28), (iii) fuels exports (SITC section 3), (iv) exports of ores and metals (SITC divisions 27, 28, and 68), and (v) manufactures export (SITC sections 5, 6, 7, and 8 minus division 68). Components of merchandise exports may not sum to 100 percent because of unclassified trade.
