Research institutions are a frequent source for quantitative and qualitative work at national and international levels. Private and public organisations, as well as researchers themselves are constituent building blocks of the research institutions. Given the support they can harness from the philanthropic, local, national, regional, international and even supra-national levels, they are the incubators for the future of humanity. They are also important augmenting agents of sustainable economic development through innovation. They generate value by first setting the ground for theory and then converting the theory into practice by the use of intellectual assets they produced.
