SESRIC and the Centre For Islamic Banking, Finance And Management (CIBFM) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to initiate and facilitate collaboration and cooperation between both institutions in matters of common interest and to establish necessary modalities for their implementation. The MoU was signed on 19 November 2015 by H.E. Amb. Musa Kulaklıkaya, Director General of SESRIC, and Mrs. Suriati Mohamad Taib, CEO of CIBFM.

The MoU aims at bringing about a synergy between SESRIC and CIBFM on capacity building for regulators, market players and other stakeholders of the financial services, as well as enhancing awareness on key issues with regards to the financial industry, notably in the effort to maintain stability and resilience of the market.
