SESRIC Director General visited ISESCO

Ambassador Musa Kulaklıkaya,Director General of the Statistical, Economic and Social Research and Training Centre for Islamic Countries (SESRIC) visited Dr Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri, Director General of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), Dr Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri in their headquarters in Rabat, Morocco.

Amb. Kulaklıkaya conducted a fruitful discussion and exchanged views with Dr. Altwaijri on possible ways and means of enhancing collaboration and cooperation between the two institutions in the areas of common interest. Amb. Kulaklıkaya also briefed the Director General of ISESCO about the new initiative of SESRIC to develop Regional Centres of Excellence for Vocational Training of Trainers in selected OIC Member Countries.

On his part, Dr. Altwaijri, expressed his thanks to Amb. Kulaklıkaya for his visit as well as the welcoming and readiness of ISESCO to cooperate  in the areas of mutual interest with SESRIC to promote peace, wellbeing, cultural and religious diversity and the universal values of humanity in OIC Member Countries.

Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) was established by the Organisation of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in May 1979. With 52 member states, ISESCO is one of the largest international Islamic organizations and specializes in the fields of education, science, and culture. ISESCO's objectives include strengthening and promoting and consolidating cooperation among Member States (OIC) in the fields of education, science, culture and communication.
