SESRIC signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities

H.E. Ambassador Musa Kulaklıkaya, Director General of the Statistical, Economic and Social Research and Training Centre for Islamic Countries (SESRIC) and Professor Dr. Kudret Bülbül, President of Prime Ministry of the Republic of Turkey Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Ankara on 10 June 2016. 

The purpose of this Memorandum is to enhance cooperation between YTB and SESRIC. The aim is to create a general framework in order to engage collaborative work for citizens, students and alumni from OIC Member Countries who are living in OIC Member Countries or abroad.

YTB was established on April 6th, 2010. The Office, which has taken the role of coordination overseeing the coordination of works performed by relevant, authorized public bodies and institutions regarding Turkish citizens living abroad, kinship and relative communities in a planned manner; determining strategies for reaching the set goals, and ensuring their success; determining the principles for successfully conducting the educational procedures of international students deemed worthy of scholarship in Turkey, and maintenance of relationships during and after their education.
