SESRIC attended the 42^nd Session of Islamic Commission for Economics, Cultural and Social Affairs (ICECS) that took place on 15-17 January 2019 at the Headquarters of the OIC General Secretariat in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Subsidiary organs, specialized, and affiliated institutions of the OIC, as well as the Standing Committees (COMCEC, COMIAC, and COMSTECH), Islamic University in Niger (IUN) and Islamic University in Uganda (IUIN), attended the Session.

The 42^nd Session of ICECS reviewed the latest developments in the fields of economic, social and cultural matters of the OIC Member States.
