Panel Discussion on ‘The Role of OIC and its Institutions in promoting South-South Cooperation among the 57 Member Countries’

SESRIC, ICCIA, IDB Group, ICDT and UNIDO-ITPO jointly organised a side event, under the Thematic Session “Sharing of Experiences, Best Practices and Success Stories”, with the Core Topic of “Role of OIC and its Institutions in Promoting South-South Cooperation among the 57 Member Countries” on 19 March 2019 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The panel discussion took place at PB Torre – Museo de Arquitectura y Diseno (MARQ), Avda Del Libertador 999, on the sidelines of the Second High-level United Nations Conference on South-South Cooperation (BAPA+40 Conference) which was held in the capital Buenos Aires on 20-22 March 2019.

The objective of the side event was to review the trends in South-South and Triangular Cooperation and at the same time study the progress made by the International entities, particularly OIC Institutions, in supporting and promoting South-South Cooperation, to identify new partnerships and to learn best practices.
