SESRIC and Turkish Court of Accounts (TCA) sign a MoU to Strengthen Cooperation in Technical Areas Concerning Public Audits in OIC Countries

The Statistical, Economic and Social Research and Training Centre for Islamic Countries (SESRIC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Turkish Court of Accounts (TCA) to strengthen the collaboration in technical areas related to various public audit subjects.

The MoU provides a framework of cooperation that aims to facilitate the collaboration between the two institutions in addressing the needs and challenges of relevant national institutions of the OIC countries regarding the public audit.

The MoU was signed by H.E. Mr Nebil Dabur, Director General of SESRIC, and H.E. Mr Seyit Ahmet Baş, President of TCA, during a ceremony held at Turkish Court of Accounts (TCA) in Ankara, Turkey. TCA is a Turkish supreme institution that carries out regularity (financial and compliance) and performance audits on behalf of the Parliament.

In accordance with the MoU, the two institutions will work together to promote the use of South-South cooperation, share knowledge and experience in the use of technical cooperating modalities, conduct joint training and capacity building activities for various public audit institutions in the OIC Member Countries.
