The 13^th Meeting of the OIC Steering Committee on Health (SCH) will be hosted by the Ministry of Health of the United Arab Emirates on 08 October 2019 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Representatives of OIC Member States and the relevant OIC and UN institutions will attend the meeting. They will discuss, inter alia, the status of implementation of the decisions and resolutions adopted by the Sixth Session of the Islamic Conference of Health Ministers held in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 2017, as well as the implementation of the OIC Strategic Health Programme of Action 2014-2023 (OIC-SHPA).

The SCH Meeting will be preceded by the Sixth Meeting of the Lead Country Coordinators Group (LCCG) responsible for the six thematic areas identified in the OIC-SHPA 2014-2023 namely, Bahrain, Indonesia, Malaysia, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Sudan and Turkey, and relevant OIC organs, as well as institutions including COMSTECH, SESRIC, ISESCO and IsDB.
