The Centre hosted a seminar titled “Do Adverse Events Add Significant Cost, Extra Length of Stay, and Mortality to the Canadian Health Care System?” on 31 December 2012 in its headquarters. The seminar was delivered by Mohammad Karimi Zarkani, PhD.

The presentation focused on the impact of preventable and non-preventable adverse events in Canadian health care system on the cost, duration and success of the health care services. The seminar lasted for about one-hour and also featured a Q&A session.
