The Statistical Capacity Building (StatCaB) Programme has been initiated in early 2007. Within this framework, the Centre is organising short-term statistical training programmes regarding needs and capacities of the National Statistical Organisations (NSOs) in the member countries of the Organisation of the Islamic Conference (OIC). The Centre analyses these needs and capacities through the responses of the related questionnaires and sends statistics experts among these countries to perform the needed training programmes.
