CIF (cost, insurance, and freight) value of goods received from the rest of the world, expressed in terms of current USD.

Explanation :

Merchandise imports consist of (i) food imports (SITC section 0, 1, and 4 plus division 22), (ii) imports of agricultural raw materials (SITC section 2 minus divisions 22, 27 and 28), (iii) fuels imports (SITC section 3), (iv) imports of ores and metals (SITC divisions 27, 28, and 68), and (v) manufactures import (SITC sections 5, 6, 7, and 8 minus division 68). Components of merchandise imports may not sum to 100 percent because of unclassified trade.
