Within the framework of its Central Banks Capacity Building Programme (CB-CaB), SESRIC will organize a training course on "Internal Audit and Corporate Governance" for the benefit of the Central Bank of the Republic of Guinea (BCRG) in Conakry, Republic of Guinea. An expert from the Central Bank of West African States (BCEAO) will conduct the training. The date of the course remains to be determined.

The training aims to strengthen interactions between the functions of the Internal Audit Department and Risk Monitoring Department. Participants will have the opportunity to master the methods and tools used to reinforce these interactions in order to further complement each other.

The course will cover the following topics:

• Elaborate an audit action plan from a risk mapping perspective
• Exploiting audit reports for updating risk mapping
• Key success factors for the interactions between the functions of audit and risk management.
