Within the framework of SESRIC’s OIC Water Resources Management Capacity Building Programme (Water-CaB), SESRIC will organize a training course on “Integrated Water Management” on 07-11 September 2020 for the benefit of participants from the Ministry of Water and Sanitation of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.

The course will be provided by competent experts from the North Lebanon Water Establishment of the Ministry of Energy and Water of Lebanon and Lebanese University.

The training course aims to provide insights on how to analyse, formulate, and implement water policies, plans and programmes by using an Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) approach while taking into consideration challenges affecting water such as climate change, ecosystem, disasters, and scarcity.

This training course is designed in line with the virtual training solutions undertaken by SESRIC in order to better serve the Centre’s training activities and keep participants motivated and engaged during this difficult time of the global crisis due to COVID-19 pandemic.
