The 4th Robot Contest, which is being organized by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the Ministry of National Education within the framework of the activities of 2010 Japan Year in Turkey, will be started with the participation of the Minister of National Education H.E. Nimet Çubukcu and Japan’s Ambassador to Ankara H.E. Nobuaki TANAKA on May 6, 2010.

The competition will be conducted on May 6 and 7. On the other hand, the Japanese winners of robot contests are going to come from Japan to make demonstrations during two days.

Besides, the first Humanoid and most well known robot “ASIMO” will make shows on May 6 and 7, 2010. At the end of the contest, the robot named “Dancing Couple” that was given special award in Japan Robot Contest will be presented to the Ministry of National Education by Japan, Institute of National Colleges of Technology, Hiroshima National College of Maritime Technology with a ceremony.
