Tendency Survey on SDG Priorities of OIC Member Countries

SESRIC finalised the collection of feedback for the “Tendency Survey on SDG Priorities of OIC Member Countries” in line with the relevant resolutions taken during the three summits of the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation (COMCEC) of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) held in 2015, 2016, and 2017. The COMCEC has designated SESRIC as a focal point at the OIC level with identifying the SDGs priorities of the OIC member countries which will contribute to the operational planning of the activities to be conducted concerning the SDGs until 2030 and submitting regular report to its Follow-Up Sessions and Annual Sessions.

The survey was made available in three official languages of the OIC, with the objective to identify the priorities given by the OIC member countries to each Sustainable Development Goal (SDG).

The Stakeholders of the National Statistical Systems of OIC Member Countries were requested to submit the completed survey to the Department of Statistics and Information of SESRIC by 31 August 2018.
