The Centre has partnered in the organisation of the Technology Exchange Exhibition that was held in parallel to the Annual Governor’s Meeting and 40th Anniversary of Islamic Development Bank (IDB) during the period 22-26 June 2014 in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The event was jointly organized with the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) Group, OIC Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation (COMSTECH) and Technology Transfer & Exchange Network (TTEN) of Developing-8.

20 OIC member countries participated at the Innovation Exhibition where 40 innovative projects and solutions have been showcased in various fields, i.e. nanotechnology, electronics, health, agriculture, education, water, renewable energy, road construction and so on. The transferrable technologies from OIC member countries were selected through a procedure as easy-to-transfer models and applications in the field of science, technology and innovation. The participants had the opportunity to see and evaluate the technologies and obtained the information directly from the source country.
