The Centre, in cooperation with Turkish State Railways (TCDD), International Union of Railways (UIC) and Middle-East Railway Training Center (MERTCe), has organized a training workshop on “RAMS & LCC for the Railway Infrastructure” on 14-16 October 2014 in Istanbul, Turkey.

The main objective of the training workshop was to increase knowledge of experts and managers on RAMS & LCC methodology. The training course was devoted to the understanding of different approaches of RAMS & LCC methodology and their advantages in a strategic decision-making process with restricted use of resources in technical development processes. Moreover, the background and highlights of the INNOTRACK project were presented.

The worskhop was participated by the representatives of relevant transport ministries and national institutions attended from different OIC Member Countries, namely, Djibouti, Saudi Arabia, Ivory Cost, Iran, Sudan, Niger, Pakistan, Tunisia and Turkey, alongside Sweden, Austria, Kosovo, Bulgaria and Canada.
