SESRIC signed MoU with TODAIE

SESRIC and Public Administration Institute for Turkey and Middle East (TODAIE) signed a Memorandum of Understanding, signaling a commitment by both institutions to enhanced co-operation. The MoU which tied together the two institutions in formal collaboration is aimed at mutual cooperation in the field of research, statistics, capacity building, publications and other relevant areas.

The signing ceremony took place on Thursday the 30 March 2017 at the SESRIC headquarters in Ankara. The MoU was signed by H.E. Amb. Musa Kulaklıkaya, Director General of SESRIC and Prof. Dr. Onur Ender Aslan, General Director of TODAIE.

In remarks shortly after the signing ceremony, Amb. Musa Kulaklıkaya called for the focused implementation of the MoU with an emphasis on sound technical results that can be used to address the challenges of development in the OIC member countries. He called on TODAIE to establish closer collaboration with OIC Institutions such as the Islamic Universities in Uganda, Malaysia and Bangladesh through academic programs, professional training, and joint research.

Commenting on how proud TODAIE is to have signed an MoU with SESRIC, Professor Onur Ender Aslan said that he looks forward to a long and fruitful relationship where TODAIE can offer students and public servants from OIC region the opportunity to build on their outstanding academic potentials. He added that TODAIE has opened new horizons in tertiary education through its graduate programs and its links with overseas universities and other institutions in Asia, Middle East, the Balkans, and now looking forward to reach out to other regions like Africa.
