Statistics Course on ‘Statistical Marketing and Dealing with the Social Media’ in Kuwait

SESRIC organised a Statistics Course on ‘Statistical Marketing and Dealing with the Social Media’ on 26-28 November 2018 at the Central Statistical Bureau (CSB) of State of Kuwait within the framework of OIC Statistical Capacity Building (StatCaB) Programme.

The Statistics Course was conducted by Dr. Mohamed Ramadan, R&D Advisor to President, Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) of Egypt, with the participation of relevant officials of the CSB of Kuwait.

The Course included discussion activities with a focus on the following topics:

  • Introduction to marketing strategy
  • Why National Statistical Offices (NSOs) need to market System of Official Statistics
  • Analysis of statistical marketing: Case studies on Oman & Egypt
  • Identity and User Experience (UX) Design
  • Infographic designs, concepts and prototypes
  • Hashtag concepts and smart-use
  • Various statistical marketing products, posts on social media
  • Social media analytics and trending strategy (FB, Twitter, LinkedIn)
  • Adds and engagement strategy
