Statistics Course on ‘Living Conditions, Poverty and Cross-Cutting Social Issues’ in Azerbaijan

In accordance with its 2018 Annual Work Plan and within the framework of Statistical Capacity Building (StatCaB) Programme, SESRIC organised the Statistics Course on ‘Living Conditions, Poverty and Cross-Cutting Social Issues’ at the State Statistical Committee (SSC) of the Republic of Azerbaijan on 04-06 February 2019.

Mr. Ahmad Avenzora, Head of Subdirectorate of Social Vulnerability Statistics at the BPS-Statistics Indonesia, conducted the Course, with the participation of 10 officials of the SSC of Azerbaijan.

The course included discussion activities with a focus on the following topics:

  • Socio Economic Survey: Source of Data for Calculating Poverty
  • Measuring Poverty in Indonesia
  • Causes of Poverty
  • Poverty Profile in Indonesia
  • Poverty Census in Indonesia
