45 OIC Intern students received a Training Course on Career Development

Forty-five Students from Côte d'Ivoire studying in Turkey gathered in Istanbul to attend a Training Course on Career Development organised by the OIC Intern Office in collaboration with Mental HR-Consultancy, a solution partners of the OIC Intern Programme, on 2-3 February 2019. The Training was organised within the framework of the OIC International Internship Programme.

The training covered topics on the importance of entrepreneurship and aimed to raise awareness among students about the opportunities offered in the sector. The course also offered a great opportunity to enhance social interaction and network among students. The attendees were also awarded a certificate and had the chance to make a tour in the historical city of Istanbul.

The OIC Intern Programme is an initiative of SESRIC, the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB), Ensar Foundation and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) for students of who are citizens of OIC Countries.

The aim of the Programme is to facilitate the entry of students in the labour market by offering them an opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills in the work environment.

The OIC Intern Programme aims to expand to other OIC Countries, targeting a larger number of students and thus generating a network of young professionals and workers that will help encourage the economic competition and improve the quality of the workforce in Member Countries.
