OIC Intern Orientation Training Program held in Ankara

Within the framework of the OIC International Internship Program (OIC Intern), SESRIC and partners organised an orientation training program on 25 May 2019 in Ankara, Turkey. Thirty-five international students from the OIC Member States studying in Turkey participated in the programme.

The objective of the training was to provide students necessary information regarding the details of the internship program, first aid in the workplace, corporate culture and productive working.

The internship will provide an opportunity for the selected students to gain practical and on-the-job experiences, develop their knowledge and skills by engaging in daily business environment of the public, for-profit or nonprofit originations based in Turkey.

The OIC International Internship Program (OIC Intern), is an initiative launched by SESRIC in cooperation with the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB), the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and Ensar Foundation, as well as other partners.

The aim is to facilitate the entry of students into the labour market, enhance the quality of the workforce and encourage economic competition, and thus lay the groundwork for closer cooperation and partnership among the OIC countries.
