A group of students visited SESRIC within the scope of the summer internship programme of SAM

SESRIC has received the first group of students on 02 July 2019 at its Headquarters in Ankara within the scope of the Summer Internship Programme organised by the Centre for Strategic Research of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey (SAM).

H.E. Mr Nebil DABUR, Director General of SESRIC, welcomed the participants and briefed them on the OIC evolution since its establishment as well as on the three mandated areas of SESRIC (statistics, research and training).

Directors of Statistics and Information Department, Economic and Social Research Department and Training and Technical Cooperation Department of SESRIC also attended the meeting and provided detailed information on the programmes and activities of their departments.

During their presentations, the Directors of these three technical departments highlighted the important role that SESRIC plays in advancing intra-OIC cooperation and promoting the socio-economic development of the Member States through effective partnership and collaboration with relevant OIC, national and international institutions.

Within the framework of the Summer Internship Programme of SAM, SESRIC will receive other two groups of students on 23 July 2019 and 20 August 2019, respectively.

The Centre for Strategic Research of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey (SAM) offers full-time internship programmes for undergraduate and graduate students who are interested in diplomacy.
