SESRIC Participated in the Symposium on ‘Working Together for a Water-Secure Future ‘

SESRIC participated in the symposium on “Working Together for a Water-Secure Future” which was organized by the Inter-Islamic Network on Water Resources Development and Management (INWRDAM) in Amman, Jordan on 09 February 2020. The symposium was held under the patronage of HRH Prince Hassan Bin Talal and attended by the focal points of INWRDAM Member States along with the professionals, decision makers, and academicians working in the domain of water. Mr. Fadi Farasin, Assistant Director General, represented the Centre thereat.

Mr. Farasin contributed to the symposium by presenting the main findings of the Centre’s ‘OIC Water Report’ which explores the current state of water resources and associated risks and challenges as well as how to transform these risks and challenges into opportunities for cooperation to build national capacities and attain water security in OIC member countries.
