H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK was hosted by H.E. Mr. Abdullah EREN, the President of the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB). This courteous visit aimed to further strengthen ties between SESRIC and YTB to enhance the well-being and development of the youth of OIC countries living in different parts of the world.

During the visit, H.E. SELÇUK expressed her heartfelt gratitude for the warm welcome extended to her and highlighted the esteemed reputation of SESRIC as a prestigious institution committed to fostering development, cooperation, and solidarity among Islamic countries.

She underlined her delight in witnessing the results of the partnership between SESRIC and YTB. One such example is the successful involvement of the first group of students from the YTB International Programme in SESRIC, a comprehensive program designed to provide students with hands-on experience and insights into the working environment of an international organisation.

Moreover, H.E. SELÇUK mentioned the recently developed SESRIC Emerging Talents Capacity Building Programme (SET-CAB), which aims to provide young talents with practical knowledge and skills in statistics, socio-economic research, and training within an international environment. The program has already garnered significant interest from the students of OIC countries.

In conclusion, the visit of H.E. SELÇUK to H.E. EREN ended in a positive mode of expression towards strengthening the joint forces between the two institutions. Through their productive efforts, both parties aim to create a brighter future for OIC-Youth and contribute to the well-being of the broader Islamic world.

YTB has been instrumental in extending support to Turkish communities living abroad, facilitating cultural exchange, and creating opportunities for their development. Recognizing the transformative power of collaboration, both institutions aim to work together to amplify their outcomes and help bridge gaps.
