H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK held a bilateral meeting with H.E. M Amanul HAQ, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh in Ankara. The meeting served as an opportunity for both parties to explore potential areas of cooperation and discuss ongoing and future initiatives, aimed at enhancing collaboration activities in the realm of training courses, workshops, webinars, and study visits.

During the meeting, H.E. SELÇUK stated that Bangladesh, as an esteemed member of the OIC, is included in all the proceedings and technical reports on social and economic affairs within the OIC, prepared by SESRIC. Moreover, Bangladeshi national institutions have benefited from a total of 98 activities related to capacity-building and technical cooperation. These activities have collectively engaged over 6,000 participants from all OIC member countries, including Bangladesh.

On his turn, H.E. HAQ thanked H.E. SELÇUK for her visit and highlighted that public institutions of Bangladesh have supported SESRIC's activities by assigning experts to conduct several capacity-building activities in various fields and will continue its support to the Centre.

The meeting of H.E. SELÇUK and H.E. HAQ ended with both representatives aiming to address shared challenges and advance common goals fostering a spirit of cooperation and mutual progress within the OIC framework.
