H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK paid a visit to H.E. Mekan ISHANGULIYEV, Ambassador of Turkmenistan in Ankara. The meeting aimed at exploring potential areas of cooperation and cementing existing ties between SESRIC and Turkmenistan.

During their productive discussions, both sides acknowledged Turkmenistan's significant performance in various domains while also highlighting the socio-economic activities done by SESRIC and in which Turkmenistan has actively participated and contributed.

For instance, SESRIC has organized a total of 22 capacity-building activities for Turkmenistan's public institutions, including 18 Training for Capacity Development sessions from 2020 to 2023 and four Statistics and Information Department activities since 2007.

H.E. SELÇUK expressed her satisfaction with the collaboration with national institutions in Turkmenistan, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Finance and Economy, Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare, and Ministry of Culture, highlighting the highly effective nature of their cooperation.

Meanwhile, H.E. ISHANGULIYEV thanked H.E. SELÇUK for her visit and highlighted that public institutions of Turkmenistan are paying utmost attention to supporting and taking part in SESRIC's several capacity-building activities in various fields.

This bilateral meeting between both representatives ended with the willingness to improve and expand cooperation between Turkmenistan and SESRIC.
