H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK received H.E. Khadidjata TOURE, the esteemed Ambassador of Côte d'Ivoire to Ankara at the SESRIC HQs. The meeting served as an opportunity to strengthen bilateral ties and explore potential avenues for collaboration between Côte d'Ivoire and SESRIC.

Recognizing the importance of capacity building and technical cooperation, H.E. SELÇUK underlined the importance of joint work between Côte d'Ivoire's national institutions and SESRIC. Côte d'Ivoire has actively participated in various SESRIC capacity-building programs, benefiting from workshops and training sessions in central banking, statistics, agriculture, and tourism, among others. Since the initiation of its various programs and projects, SESRIC has organized a total of 99 capacity-building activities for the benefit of Côte d’Ivoire.

In turn, H.E. TOURE thanked H.E. SELÇUK for her warm welcome and expressed the readiness of her country to establish new partnerships and enhance existing collaborations between the national institutions in Côte d'Ivoire and SESRIC. She also highlighted the readiness of the Embassy of Côte d’Ivoire to participate in the SESRIC Country Journey presentation.

The courtesy visit concluded with the tendency to strengthen ties between Côte d'Ivoire and SESRIC, highlighting achievements, potential areas of cooperation, and emphasizing the importance of active participation of Ivorian institutions in SESRIC's capacity-building activities.
