SESRIC participated in the 24^th Meeting of the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation (COMCEC) Trade Working Group, held virtually on 21 April 2025. The meeting focused on the theme “Improving Export Strategies in the OIC Member Countries”. It brought together 72 representatives from relevant national public and private institutions of OIC Countries, as well as international and regional organisations.

Key highlights of the meeting included presentations by project consultants, outlining their methodology and initial findings on improving export strategies in OIC countries. Moreover, experts from national institutions and international organizations shared their experiences and relevant case studies regarding national regulations, import/export procedures, and overall trade policy applications.

The discussions during the meeting revolved around the challenges and obstacles facing the improvement of trade regulations, while involving the private sector to enhance economic growth and enrich collaboration among OIC countries.
