SESRIC participated in the 46^th Meeting of the Sessional Committee of the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation (COMCEC). The meeting aimed to review and coordinate the contributions of OIC institutions to the implementation of the COMCEC Strategy and its Ministerial Policy Recommendations.

During the meeting, participating OIC institutions provided updates on their implemented activities under two main groups: those directly supporting the COMCEC Ministerial Policy Recommendations, and those aligned with broader COMCEC strategic objectives.

A dedicated segment of the meeting focused on the role of OIC institutions in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) across OIC countries. SESRIC presented its preparations for the Annual Report on the progress made towards the prioritized SDGs at the OIC level, in alignment with member countries’ development priorities.

Representatives from other OIC institutions also shared pertinent information about their activities and efforts with the Committee in preparation for the upcoming 41^st Meeting of the Follow-Up Committee of the COMCEC.
