SESRIC Presents on Education and Skills Development in OIC Member Countries at the International Education Congress

SESRIC participated in the International Education Congress held in Ankara on 3-4 June 2025. Representing SESRIC, Dr. Ipek Dedeoglu delivered a presentation titled “Education and Skills Development in OIC Member Countries” during the session “New Paradigms in Education: Artificial Intelligence, Digital Culture, and International Experiences.”

The presentation highlighted current trends, challenges, and opportunities in education and skills development across the member countries of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). Ms. Dedeoglu emphasized SESRIC’s central role in supporting education systems in OIC countries through data collection, capacity-building programs, technical cooperation, and research activities.

The session explored how advancements in artificial intelligence and the digital transformation are reshaping education globally and underlined the importance of international collaboration and shared experiences among nations. The congress brought together international scholars, policymakers, and experts to discuss future directions in education and to foster global partnerships for sustainable and inclusive learning.
