H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK held a bilateral meeting with H.E. Prof. Dr. M. Iqbal CHOUDHARY, Coordinator General of the OIC Standing Committee for Scientific and Technological Cooperation (COMSTECH), on the sidelines of the 51^st Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) of the OIC, held in Istanbul on 21-22 June 2025.

The discussions centred on common areas of cooperation with a particular emphasis on the OIC Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) Agenda 2026 and the ongoing mutual efforts in this regard. H.E. SELÇUK highlighted the importance of pertinent flagship programmes that would fall under the mandate areas of respected OIC institutions contributing to the sustainable development of the member countries.

Furthermore, both parties examined the ongoing preparations for the organisation of the 7^th Meeting of the OIC Steering Committee for the Implementation of the STI Agenda, which is planned to take place at SESRIC Headquarters in Ankara during the last quarter of 2025.
