H.E. Ambassador Fahad Bin Assaad Bin Abdulkareem ABUALNASR, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of Türkiye, paid a courtesy visit to H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK at the Centre’s Headquarters in Ankara.

During the meeting, both sides reaffirmed the importance of enhancing the existing strong cooperation between SESRIC and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, particularly in the domains of statistical capacity building, technical cooperation, and research. H.E. Ambassador ABUALNASR expressed appreciation for the Centre’s continued efforts in supporting the development goals of OIC countries, through its various training programmes, research initiatives, and knowledge-sharing platforms.

H.E. SELÇUK underlined SESRIC’s readiness to further expand its collaborative endeavours with Saudi Arabia’s national institutions by leveraging mutual expertise and fostering strategic partnerships aligned with the priorities of the OIC 2025 Programme of Action.

The visit concluded with a shared commitment to deepen institutional ties and explore new avenues for impactful joint initiatives in areas of common interest.
