H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK held a constructive meeting with H.E. Nancy SHUKRI, Minister of Women, Family and Community Development of Malaysia, on matters related to women and family empowerment.

The meeting served as an important opportunity to discuss the challenges and prospects in the social development domain in the OIC countries, particularly on potential collaborations geared towards advancing women inclusion across sectors.

H.E. SELÇUK, shared insights in SESRIC’s efforts throughout the years on issues related to women and family, including its relevant reports, pertinent capacity building activities, and projects. She also emphasized the importance of strengthening intra-OIC collaborations through the exchange of knowledge and good practices following South-South cooperation modalities.

In her turn, H.E. SHUKRI expressed appreciation for SESRIC’s continued efforts and collaborative spirit underscoring the Ministry’s readiness and willingness to further support the Centre’s initiatives.

The meeting concluded on a positive note, with both parties expressing a shared enthusiasm for a strong and strategic collaboration.
