SESRIC, as the Executing Organ of the Vocational Education and Training Programme for Member Countries of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC-VET), hosted a series of OIC-VET Consultative Meetings to develop the ten-year OIC TVET Strategic Roadmap 2026-2035.

The third OIC-VET Consultative Meeting was held online in English on 4 November 2025. It brought together 42 senior representatives from 16 Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) authorities and relevant national institutions in OIC countries. Participants exchanged views on major topics concerning the TVET Programme, with the goal of fostering stronger cooperation and advancing vocational education among member countries.

The consultative meeting primarily sought to address emerging challenges and opportunities in the TVET sector, helping to outline strategic directions that will shape the new vision of the OIC-VET Programme. In addition, the meeting also reviewed the current organisational structure of OIC-VET to improve its overall efficiency and impact.
