H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK met with H.E. Mountaga DIAO, Minister of Tourism and Handicrafts of Senegal, on the occasion of SESRIC’s commemoration ceremony of Dakar as the OIC City of Tourism 2025. The meeting explored areas of cooperation in the tourism sector, including handicraft education, gastronomy, blue and green tourism, as well as sustainable rural development.

During the meeting, an MoU was signed to establish a framework of cooperation in areas of common interest, with a particular focus on enhancing the tourism sector in Senegal as a promising destination. The partnership will foster joint activities, including capacity-building programmes, research initiatives, exchange of expertise, and the development of collaborative projects.
