H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK held a meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Lebanon to the Republic of Türkiye, H.E. Mounir ANOUTI.

During the meeting, H.E. SELÇUK congratulated H.E. Ambassador ANOUTI on his appointment and extended her best wishes for success in his diplomatic mission in Türkiye. The discussions focused on enhancing institutional collaboration through capacity-building programmes, technical cooperation, and knowledge-sharing initiatives aimed at supporting the development of Lebanon’s national institutions.

H.E. SELÇUK highlighted SESRIC’s longstanding engagement with Lebanon, noting that the Centre has to date successfully organised over 100 capacity-building activities, benefiting approximately 200 experts and professionals from a wide range of Lebanese public institutions. She reaffirmed SESRIC’s commitment to continuing its support in line with Lebanon’s national priorities and institutional needs.

The meeting concluded with a shared understanding on the importance of deepening collaboration between SESRIC and Lebanon, in support of sustainable development objectives and the broader goals of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
