In its capacity as the Secretariat of the OIC Statistical Commission (OIC-StatCom), SESRIC will organize the Follow-up Meeting of the 14^th Session of the OIC-StatCom as a side event of the 57^th Session of the United Nations Statistical Commission (UNSC) in New York, USA, on 4 March 2026.

The side event will provide a platform for delegates to review and discuss the progress in implementing the resolutions adopted during the 14th Session of the OIC-StatCom, held on 1-3 October 2025 in Ankara, Republic of Türkiye. Participants will also exchange views on the composition of bureau members, the proposed draft agenda items, and the logistical arrangements for the 15th Session of the OIC-StatCom, planned to be held in September 2026 in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
