Workshop on ‘Stimulating Youth Entrepreneurship: Best Practices and Government Policies’

Within the framework of the OIC Public Employment Services Network (OIC-PESNET) Work Plan 2024-2026 and the PES-CaB Programme, and in line with the OIC Youth Strategy, the Centre, in collaboration with the Social Security Organisation (PERKESO) of Malaysia, will organise a virtual Workshop on “Stimulating Youth Entrepreneurship: Best Practices and Government Policies” on 24–25 February 2026.

The workshop will be provided by experts from the Ministry of Entrepreneur and Cooperative Development of Malaysia, the Malaysian Islamic Economic Development Foundation (YAPEIM), and PERKESO, for the benefit of experts and executives from the Public Employment Agencies and relevant national institutions across OIC countries.

This workshop aims to share best practices and public policies that effectively stimulate youth entrepreneurship. Drawing on Malaysia's proven frameworks, the sessions will showcase successful interventions and innovative solutions to key challenges. In addition, the workshop will provide participants with the strategic tools and knowledge necessary to implement similar entrepreneurship models within their own countries.
