H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK held a bilateral meeting with H.E. Mohammad Jalal Ragheb HAMDAN, Deputy Minister of Transport and Telecommunications of Palestine, on the margins of the 2nd OIC Conference of Transport Ministers (OICCTM) in İstanbul.

The discussions focused on strengthening and expanding cooperation between SESRIC and Palestine through workshops, training courses, and study visits under SESRIC’s Capacity Building Programmes, particularly in the field of transportation. They also addressed priority areas, including public transportation, assessments and studies on the transportation sector’s needs in Palestine, and the development of the transportation network.

H.E. SELÇUK reaffirmed that SESRIC remains firmly committed to supporting Palestine’s socio-economic development, in line with the foundational principles of the OIC, which was established with the cause of Palestine at its core.

To date, SESRIC has implemented over 260 capacity-building activities for the benefit of national institutions of Palestine.
