SESRIC participated in the 10^th Coordination Committee Meeting on Tourism, held on 22 June 2026 in Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan, and organized by the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the OIC General Secretariat.

The Meeting reviewed the implementation of the Resolution on Tourism Development among OIC Member States, adopted by the 12^th Islamic Conference of Tourism Ministers (ICTM), reaffirming the collective commitment of member countries and relevant OIC institutions to advancing tourism cooperation.

SESRIC was represented by Dr. Davron Ishnazarov, who briefed participants on the Centre’s activities and efforts in supporting the implementation of the Resolution on Tourism Development among OIC Member States. The Meeting also reviewed the nominations received for the OIC City of Tourism Award for the 2028, 2029, and 2030 cycles, during which Dr. Ishnazarov presented the Centre’s assessment of the nominee cities to guide the deliberations of the Selection Committee.

The outcomes of the meeting will be forwarded for consideration by the 13^th Islamic Conference of Tourism Ministers (ICTM), scheduled to be held in Doha, State of Qatar, on 1–3 December 2026.
