SESRIC participated in Saudi Water Week 2026, held in Jeddah on 28–29 June 2026, where Dr. Esat BAKIMLI delivered remarks on water awareness, efficiency and resilience.

Dr. BAKIMLI stressed that awareness should translate into behavioural change, practical action and responsible water use. He noted that average per capita water availability in OIC countries is nearly half the global average and reaffirmed SESRIC’s readiness to cooperate with partners to strengthen shared water resilience.
