SESRIC Participates in Saudi Water Week 2026 in Jeddah

A SESRIC delegation, headed by H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK, participated in Saudi Water Week 2026, held in Jeddah, which served as a global platform for advancing dialogue on water security, climate adaptation, innovation, and sustainable water resources management.

Throughout the event, the SESRIC delegation contributed to panel discussions and delivered remarks highlighting the importance of data, evidence-based policy, capacity building, and intra-OIC cooperation in strengthening water efficiency and resilience.

On the sidelines of the event, H.E. SELÇUK also held a series of bilateral meetings with high-level representatives of national institutions, international organizations, and potential partner institutions.

During these meetings, the SESRIC delegation exchanged views on common water-related challenges and explored future areas of cooperation in water statistics, policy research, capacity-building programmes, technical cooperation, and the sharing of good practices among OIC countries.

SESRIC reaffirmed its readiness to support OIC countries in advancing sustainable water management and translating knowledge into practical cooperation and impact.
