On the margins of the 17^th UN–OIC General Cooperation Meeting, H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK met with H.E. Gilbert F. Houngbo, Director-General of the International Labour Organization (ILO).

The meeting reaffirmed the longstanding partnership between SESRIC and the ILO and explored opportunities to further strengthen cooperation in key areas, including the care economy, social protection, women’s empowerment, and technical and vocational education and training (TVET) and skills development.

The discussions also covered preparations for joint reports on labour statistics, underscoring the shared commitment of both institutions to advancing evidence-based policymaking.
