H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK attended the reception hosted by H.E. Dr. Yousaf JUNAID, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Republic of Türkiye, on the occasion of the Independence Day of Pakistan.

The reception was honoured by the participation of H.E. Cevdet YILMAZ, Vice President of the Republic of Türkiye. In his remarks, H.E. YILMAZ emphasised that the Mecca Joint Defence Agreement recently signed between Türkiye, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia has added a new dimension to their relations. He noted that this established cooperation will significantly contribute to peace, security and stability.

SESRIC extends its warmest congratulations to the Government and the brotherly people of Pakistan, whose active engagement in OIC cooperation, most recently as host of the 9^th OIC Ministerial Conference on Women in Islamabad, continues to advance the shared development goals of OIC countries.
