At the opening of the Seventh Edition of the Mediation for Peace Certificate Program, organised by the Diplomacy Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye on 14 October 2026, Dr. Atilla Karaman delivered the message of H.E. Mr. Ismail Ould Cheikh AHMED, Secretary-General of the OIC.

In his message, the OIC Secretary-General expressed appreciation to the Ministry and its Diplomacy Academy for their continued support for the programme. He reaffirmed the OIC’s commitment to peace, stability and dialogue among its Member States, describing mediation as a central pillar of the Organisation’s efforts to address conflicts. He also underscored the importance of cooperation with international and regional organisations.
