H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK held a meeting with H.E. Amb. Syed Mohammad FAWAD SHER, Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), to discuss opportunities for strengthening cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

The discussions focused on climate resilience and disaster risk management, water security, agricultural productivity, and food security. The two sides also explored opportunities to enhance cooperation in employment services and human resource development through the OIC Public Employment Services Network (OIC-PESNET) and the OIC Vocational Education and Training Programme (OIC-VET).

To date, SESRIC has organised a total of 325 capacity-building activities for the benefit of Pakistan, reflecting its continued efforts to support human resource development and strengthen institutional capacities in OIC Member Countries.
