H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK attended the “10 Years Building the Future” programme, organised by the Turkish Maarif Foundation on 15 October 2026 to mark the 10th anniversary of its establishment.
The programme was held at the Presidential Complex in Ankara under the auspices of H.E. Recep Tayyip ERDOĞAN, President of the Republic of Türkiye, and was attended by the First Lady, H.E. Emine ERDOĞAN.
In his address, H.E. ERDOĞAN stated that the achievements of the Foundation over the past decade reflect the historic transformation of Türkiye’s education system. He highlighted that, over the last 24 years, Türkiye has significantly expanded its educational infrastructure, enhanced access to education and equal opportunities, strengthened institutional capacity, updated curricula to address emerging needs, and advanced the green and digital transformation of schools.
Today, the Foundation provides educational services to more than 75,000 students through 611 institutions in 66 countries, including 27 OIC Member Countries.
